These terms govern the use of ABONEA, a subscription tracking service available on the web and through its mobile applications.
By creating an account, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
2. Who publishes the service
- Company name: JHUNTING SRL
- Registered office: Oudesmidsestraat 20, 1700 Dilbeek, Belgium
- Enterprise number (CBE): 0811.369.762
- VAT number: BE 0811.369.762
- Contact: adm@abonea.app
3. What ABONEA does, and what it does not do
ABONEA lets you manually list your subscriptions, track what they cost, and receive reminders before the renewal dates you have recorded.
What the service does not do, which shapes how it is to be used:
- ABONEA never takes any money and carries out no transaction.
- ABONEA is not connected to any bank account. It detects no direct debit. A statement is only read when you submit it yourself to the analysis feature described in section 6, and it is never kept.
- ABONEA cancels no subscription on your behalf. Any cancellation must be made with the provider concerned. Marking a subscription as cancelled in ABONEA has no effect with that provider.
- ABONEA is not a financial adviser. The amounts, totals and savings suggestions displayed are indications calculated from what you have entered.
4. Your account
You must provide a valid email address and be at least 16 years old.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the actions carried out from your account. Notify us without delay in the event of unauthorised use. We recommend that you enable two-factor authentication, available in your settings.
An account is personal. You may neither share nor transfer it.
5. Your data and its accuracy
The data you enter belongs to you. You are responsible for it, including for its accuracy.
This has a direct consequence: reminders and alerts rely on the dates and amounts you have recorded. An incorrect date produces an incorrect reminder. ABONEA cannot verify this information with your providers.
You undertake not to enter unlawful content, nor personal data concerning a third party without their consent.
If you add an image (for example a custom logo on a subscription), you warrant that you hold the necessary rights to it. You grant us the licence strictly needed to host it and display it back to you; it is visible only to you. We may remove any unlawful content.
6. Bank statement analysis
Bank statement analysis is an optional feature, reserved to the paid Premium and Pro plans, within each plan’s monthly scan limit. It lets you submit a bank or card statement, as a PDF or an image, so that ABONEA can propose a list of subscriptions that may appear in it.
Nothing is created without your agreement. The result is a list of proposals that you check, correct and tick yourself. Only the proposals you confirm become subscriptions in your account, with the amounts and billing frequencies you validated.
The file is processed in memory for the duration of the request and is never kept. To produce the proposals, ABONEA transmits to an analysis provider either the debit lines extracted from the PDF (date, label, amount), after masking account numbers, card numbers and mandate references, or the image itself when you submit a screenshot or a photo. The details, the providers involved and their role are described in the Privacy Policy.
The proposals come from automated processing and may be incomplete or wrong: a subscription may be missing, an amount or a frequency may be inaccurate. You remain responsible for what you confirm, as set out in section 5. By submitting a statement, you warrant that it concerns an account you hold or are authorised to use.
The number of analyses per hour is limited to protect the service.
7. Availability of the service
We endeavour to keep the service available, without guaranteeing it. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates, or because of technical incidents beyond our control.
Notifications are not guaranteed. Their delivery depends on third-party services (Apple, Google, your email provider), on your device and on its settings. Do not make ABONEA your only reminder mechanism for an important deadline.
8. What you may not do
- Attempt to access another user’s data
- Circumvent security, authentication or rate limiting measures
- Extract the content of the service in bulk by automated means
- Disrupt the operation of the service or of its servers
- Use the service for unlawful purposes
Failure to comply with these rules may lead to the suspension or the deletion of your account.
9. Intellectual property
The service, its brand, its interface and its code remain the property of the publisher. These terms grant you no right over them, beyond the right to use the service in accordance with its purpose.
The names, trademarks and logos of the subscription services listed in the catalog belong to their respective owners. They are used to identify the subscriptions you track and imply no partnership between ABONEA and those companies, nor any endorsement on their part.
10. Pricing
The service comes in three plans. The free plan includes tracking of up to ten subscriptions, the catalog, the payment calendar, alerts, cancellation guides and the wishlist.
The Premium plan, at 4.99 EUR per month or 34.99 EUR per year, all taxes included, adds AI-powered bank statement analysis limited to five scans per calendar month, tracking of an unlimited number of subscriptions and advanced statistics.
The Pro plan, at 9.99 EUR per month or 99 EUR per year, all taxes included, adds statement scans without a monthly limit under fair use, the distinction between professional and personal subscriptions, the associated VAT rates and excluding-tax amounts, and the accounting export in CSV format.
Each paid plan includes a three-day free trial, during which statement scans are limited to three. Payment is processed by Stripe; the subscription can be cancelled at any time from the customer portal and ends at the end of the current period. Any change to the prices will be notified to you in accordance with section 14 and will only apply from the next billing period.
11. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your settings, without giving reasons and free of charge.
We may suspend or delete an account in the event of a breach of these terms, after informing you where circumstances allow.
12. Liability
ABONEA is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for damage resulting from:
- inaccurate data you have entered;
- a notification not being received;
- a subscription you have not cancelled with its provider;
- a temporary unavailability of the service.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability in the event of gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or harm to life or physical integrity. If you are a consumer, your mandatory rights remain unaffected.
13. Personal data
The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
14. Changes
We may amend these terms. Any substantial change will be notified to you by email or in the application before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
If you do not accept the new terms, you can delete your account.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Belgian law.
Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of the judicial district of Brussels, French-speaking chamber. If you are a consumer, this clause does not deprive you of the right to bring proceedings before the court of your place of residence where the law allows you to do so.
